SIFMA Foundation is an educational, charitable 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing financial readiness for elementary, middle, and high school students in schools and other youth-serving nonprofits nationwide. Launched in 1977, SIFMA Foundation offers programs and tools such as The Stock Market Game™ that equip educators to advance their students’ financial capability. To date, our programs have enabled 20 million students to prepare effectively for their financial futures, improve their academic and life skills, and gain exposure to opportunities for college and careers.
To respect the privacy of minors, SIFMA Foundation does not knowingly collect, maintain, or process Personal Information submitted online via our Internet Services by anyone under the age of 18.
The Stock Market Game website (www.stockmarketgame.org) is a non-commercial, educational website designed to enable educators to access curricula and enriching simulations. It does not collect personal information unless you knowingly provide it during registration. We may request basic contact information (name, email, phone, and school address) to provide access to password-protected curricula and simulations. We never collect or retain student personal information.
Submitting personal information is not required to use the site except for access to password-protected portions. We only collect information when you knowingly and voluntarily provide it.
We use your information to generate customized teacher and student accounts with safe access to teaching materials, rubrics, lesson plans, and interactive online activities. U.S. residents may receive program participation information (opt-out available). EU and Canadian residents receive marketing only with express consent.
We may disclose limited information to trusted outside vendors that support our educational services (e.g., database management, email distribution, fraud prevention). They must keep it confidential. We may also disclose information to comply with legal requirements or in the event of organizational changes.
We use Google Analytics with privacy protections (no Signal, remarketing, or advertising features enabled). IP addresses may be tracked for demographics and functionality. Cookies can be disabled in your browser. “Do Not Track” signals are not acted upon.
California residents may request details about personal information disclosures for marketing purposes, as allowed under California Civil Code Section 1798.83.
EU residents may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and lodging complaints with authorities. Requests can be sent to smg@sifma.org.
Our web and application servers are hosted by Broadridge Financial Solutions, which provides advanced firewall infrastructure. All communication is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. We do not collect student personal information, but other information you provide is protected.
